Built for High-Assurance AI Production Workloads
Fusion AI Gateway is designed from the ground up with defense-in-depth principles: modern edge cryptography, strict tenant isolation, and contractual Zero Data Retention.
End-to-End Encryption
TLS 1.3 enforced for all in-transit traffic. AES-256 encryption at rest across all persistent state.
Zero Data Retention (ZDR)
Prompts and completions stream ephemerally. Customer data is never used to train or fine-tune AI models.
Edge-First Infrastructure
Global Cloudflare serverless network inheriting SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001, and Tier IV datacenter physical controls.
Tenant Isolation & Scoped Keys
Logical tenant isolation at the database layer, with passkeys, MFA, and instant API key revocation.
Security Overview & Architecture
Fusion acts as an intelligent, high-throughput gateway proxy between client applications (frontends, developer backends, and CLI tools) and upstream AI compute providers.
Our architecture strictly enforces the principle of stateless streaming for payload data:
- Ephemeral Processing: Inbound prompt payloads are streamed in-flight directly to designated upstream model providers without being written to persistent disk.
- Separation of Data and Metadata: Usage metering records only non-sensitive transactional metadata (e.g. token counts, timestamp, model ID, latency, and status code). The prompt body is discarded upon connection close.
- Edge Termination: TLS connections terminate at Cloudflare's global edge closest to the user, minimizing public transit vulnerability.
Data Protection & Cryptography
We implement comprehensive cryptographic safeguards across all layers of the Fusion technology stack:
| Layer | Standard | Implementation Details |
|---|---|---|
| In-Transit | TLS 1.3 / HTTPS | Strict Transport Security (HSTS) with forward secrecy and automated certificate renewal. |
| At-Rest (Databases) | AES-256 | Database tables (Cloudflare D1) and KV caches are hardware-encrypted at rest using AES-256 keys. |
| API Keys & Secrets | Argon2id / SHA-256 | Customer API secrets are cryptographically hashed; raw secrets are never stored in plaintext. |
Zero Data Retention (ZDR) & AI Governance
Our Commitment on Model Training:
Fusion does not use, store, or allow any third party to use your prompts, context vectors, code snippets, or model responses to train, re-train, or fine-tune public or proprietary foundation models.
When routing requests to upstream AI providers (such as DeepSeek, OpenAI, Anthropic, or MiniMax), Fusion operates under commercial enterprise API terms that provide contractual Zero Data Retention or strict ephemeral inference boundaries.
Detailed subprocessor terms and data transfer mechanisms are published in our Subprocessors Registry and Data Processing Addendum (DPA).
Tenant Isolation & Identity Controls
Fusion enforces logical tenant isolation across all application layers:
- Query Scoping: Every database query is strictly scoped by the authenticated organization or user context. Cross-tenant reads are prevented by row-level relational checks.
- Authentication Options: We support hardware passkeys (WebAuthn / FIDO2), email verification, and OAuth integrations powered by Better Auth.
- Granular Key Governance: API keys can be generated with custom spending limits, model-level restrictions, and instant one-click revocation.
Cloud Infrastructure & Edge Safeguards

Vulnerability Management & Responsible Disclosure
We welcome reports from independent security researchers, customers, and developers. If you believe you have identified a security flaw or vulnerability within Fusion, we appreciate your cooperation in disclosing it to us responsibly.
Reporting Channel
Please email vulnerability submissions directly to: security@fusioncode.app
Please include a detailed summary, steps to reproduce, and proof-of-concept. We commit to acknowledging receipt within 48 hours and will not pursue legal action against researchers acting in good faith.
Incident Response & SLA Commitments
Fusion maintains an active Incident Response Plan with defined triage protocols, root cause analysis (RCA), and post-incident remediation reviews.
- Breach Notification SLA: In the event of a confirmed security breach impacting customer personal data, Fusion will notify affected account owners within 72 hours of confirmation, in accordance with applicable data protection regulations (including GDPR Art. 33).
- Real-Time Operational Status: Real-time and historical system uptime, scheduled maintenance, and incident history are publicly monitored at our System Status Page.
